First Task Professional are currently working with a fit out and refurbishment contractor to recruit for a freelance Quantity Surveyor to undertake a site based role in Edinburgh City Centre on a high value refurbishment project until Summer 2025.

Experience working on refurbishment projects valued >£5m would be preferential.

This role will involve:

* Assigning work to subcontractors

* Valuing completed work, managing budgets and overseeing payments

* Ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards

* Submitting regular budget reports

* Working closely with the Project Management team
