We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global law firm to find them a Media Relations Manager to work as part of their global media team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a PR specialist to establish themselves as a key member of the firm, working closely with EMEA and APAC teams to drive the firm's PR and media initiatives. This pivotal role will see you supporting a range of duties, including:

* Driving the media strategy for EMEA and APAC

* Supporting senior members of the press office

* Generating and pitching story ideas to the firm's practice areas and stakeholders

* Offering media coaching and preparation to key spokespeople

* Providing media relations counsel to stakeholders and partners

* Building media relationships with mainstream media, business trade press and legal trade press

The perfect Media Relations Manager will have prior and significant experience working in a newsroom or in-house content development role. You will ideally have knowledge of legal PR and comms. You will be an excellent communicator, a creative thinker, and possess a proven ability to develop media relations.

This is a permanent opportunity with a salary of up to c£90,000 with some flexibility for the right candidate.
