Milk Education are currently recruiting for Social and Emotional Classroom Practitioners for a range of schools across the Salford area.
This Social and Emotional Classroom Practitioner position is effectively supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis with SEMH and behavioural needs, supporting nurture groups in a social and emotional capacity while also ensuring they reach their academic potential.
The hours for this Social and Emotional Classroom Practitioner role are 8:30 - 3:30pm.
What do you need for this Social and Emotional Classroom Practitioner role:
* A DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one through Milk Education
* Be able to provide your two most recent references - either work-based or education
* Be available at least two days a week
* Have an engaging and proactive nature and a willingness to work in the best interest if young people
* Experience working with young people is preferred but not essential
* Live within commutable distance of Blackburn
