Job Title: Senior Applications Engineer

We are a market-leading engineering company based in Aylesbury, seeking an experienced and driven Senior Applications Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to play a key role in our company's continued success while advancing their own career.

As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise across a wide range of projects, with a particular focus on pressure vessel codes such as ASME VIII. The ideal candidate will be either Chartered or currently working towards Chartership and will have a deep understanding of engineering principles, with the ability to apply them in a practical, real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Apply technical knowledge of ASME VIII and other relevant pressure vessel codes to develop high-quality engineering solutions.

* Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

* Drive innovation and efficiency within the team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and sales, to ensure seamless project delivery.

* Provide technical support to clients, ensuring their requirements are met with precision and expertise.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Applications Engineer, with a strong background in pressure vessel codes (ASME VIII preferred).

* Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards Chartership.

* A solid track record of mentoring, leading, and developing engineering teams.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
