Vehicle Technician – Plymouth
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Day Shifts)
About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our team in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional and supportive environment with a competitive salary of up to £42,000.
Working a Monday-to-Friday day shift, you’ll enjoy a work-life balance while utilizing your technical expertise to deliver high-quality maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a variety of makes and models.
Conduct advanced diagnostics and fault-finding using modern diagnostic equipment.
Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards and in line with health and safety regulations.
Carry out pre-MOT checks and prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
Accurately complete job cards and service reports to record all completed work.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, providing updates on vehicle status and recommendations.Requirements
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently and independently while maintaining attention to detail.
Full UK driving license (essential).
