JOB TITLE: Credit Controller

CONTRACT: Permanent

HOURS: 40 hours per week, 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

START: ASAP

SALARY: Up to £30,000 depending on experience

LOCATION: Poole

CULTURE: Supportive and friendly, busy team!

The role:

Monitor and manage the debtor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers.
Set up and maintain customer credit limits.
Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letters.
Resolve payment disputes and negotiate payment plans.
Prepare and distribute regular reports on credit control activities and debtor status.
Liaise with internal departments to resolve billing issues.
Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
Assist with month-end closing and reporting.What You'll Bring:

Proven experience as a Credit Controller.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
