Science/Maths Cover Teacher – Specialist SEN School (Basingstoke) – ASAP Start

An outstanding co-educational specialist trust in Basingstoke is looking for a Science/Maths Cover Teacher to join their dedicated team as soon as possible. The school supports boys and girls aged 4-19 with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs), providing a nurturing and structured learning environment.

The Role:

* Delivering Science and Maths lessons to students with additional needs.

* Creating engaging and accessible lessons tailored to the needs of students with ASC and SEMH.

* Managing classroom behaviour effectively while building strong relationships with students.

* Working as part of a supportive and experienced team to help students achieve their potential.

The Ideal Candidate:

✔ QTS preferred, but those with strong subject knowledge and experience working with SEN students will be considered.
✔ Confident in teaching Science and Maths at an appropriate level.
✔ Experience working with ASC/SEMH students or within an SEN setting is highly desirable.
✔ Resilient, patient, and passionate about making a difference in students' lives.
