What They’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Certifications:
NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3
C&G Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
F-Gas Certification (current industry standard)
IPAF, PASMA, and Skillcard
Key Experience:
Minimum 3 years' experience working with split AC, chillers, and VRV/VRF systems
Strong background in maintaining and repairing systems of various types and ages
Proven ability in fault-finding, servicing, and repair of:
VRV / VRF Systems
Chillers (10kW to 1MW – including package, scroll, and screw)
Close Control & DX Cooling Systems
Control system diagnostics
Commissioning of new installations
Heat Pumps (ECODAN and ALTHERMA)
Commercial refrigeration (walk-in fridges, freezers, and cold rooms)
Personal Attributes:
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service
Reliable, honest, and professional with a verifiable 3-year work history
Comfortable working as part of a team and independently
Willing to respond to emergency call-outs, including out-of-hours (rota basis)
Able to build strong relationships with clients and contribute to a positive reputation
