We are currently working with a well-regarded secondary school in the Doncaster area to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL). This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated MFL specialist looking to step into a leadership role or for an existing Head of MFL ready for a new challenge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Position: Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Doncaster area
Salary: Competitive and in line with experienceResponsibilities:
Lead and manage the MFL department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across all languages offered.
Develop and implement engaging schemes of work that align with the curriculum.
Inspire students to achieve their potential in languages, fostering a love for learning.
Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching strategies and interventions.
Support and mentor colleagues within the department, promoting professional development and collaboration.
Work closely with senior leadership to contribute to the wider school community and initiatives.What We're Looking For:
A qualified and experienced MFL teacher with a strong track record of success in the classroom.
Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a school setting (Head of Department experience preferred but not essential).
A passion for languages and a commitment to raising standards in education.
Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire both students and staff and foster a positive learning environment.
