We are looking for a Site Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a major highways project in Suffolk. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a £100m+ infrastructure project, working alongside experienced professionals to ensure quality and efficiency on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

*

Carry out setting out and engineering control.

*

Coordinate engineering activities and communicate with operatives and subcontractors.

*

Complete daily site records, including diary sheets and photographic evidence.

*

Perform material reconciliations and maintain accurate records.

*

Calibrate surveying equipment and conduct as-built surveys.

*

Produce 2D & 3D site sketches and assist in maintaining quality records.

*

Support junior engineers, contribute to planning, and implement best practices on site.

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a Site Engineer in infrastructure or civil engineering projects.

*

Proficiency in setting out techniques (Level, EDM, GPS).

*

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work flexibly.

*

HND or degree in a relevant field, with a valid CSCS card.

*

Experience using Office 365 and site management software.
