JOB DESCRIPTION: FABRICATION SUPERVISOR

Calibre Metalwork Ltd are a Fabrication & Restoration company who are seeking a supervisor to manage all aspects of contract works assigned to them ..... both on and off site.We are based in Hazel Grove and have had projects nationwide where all expenses are paid.

Responsibilities include:

* completing contracts to specification, programme and budget

* arranging the allocation of labour for assigned contracts within the overall works programme

* purchasing or reserving resources needed to execute the works (materials, plant & vehicles)

* ensuring works are carried out to the company’s conservation and technical standards

* supervising health and safety amongst his/her team, both on and off site

* representing the company on site

* anticipating potential delays and working actively to minimise programme disruptions

* discussing potential delays or budget overspends with the Contracts Manager immediately they are recognised

* maintaining any company vehicle allocated to him/her

Workshop Skills preferred

* Ability to read/interpret drawings

* Welding - MIG

* Welding - TIG

* Welding - MMA (arc)

* Brazing

* Drilling & Tapping

* Grinding & Fettling

* Welding Cast Iron

* Painting

* Working with Non- ferrous metals

* Computer literate (Word, Excel & Outlook)

Onsite Skills Preferred

* CSCS Card

* Installing on site - Gates & Railings , other metalwork

* Site Surveys -( setting out etc)

* Stone drilling

* Lead Caulking

* Painting , Finishing
