The Recruitment Group is looking for a Laser Setter Operator based in Loughborough.  Our client is a fast-growing company with big ambitions dedicated to serving their customers at the highest level.  We are looking for a Laser Setter Operator who is an experienced and passionate individual with a can-do attitude to join the team.  If you are interested in the Laser Setter Operator role, please read below.  Please note that this is a temporary role.

Pay for the Laser Setter Operator

£14-£15 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours

Monday – Thursday – 7.30am to 4.30pm
Friday – 730am to 12.30pm

Duties and Responsibilities

Set up and operate laser cutting machines efficiently, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output
Load and unload materials and cut parts, ensuring proper handling and storage
Quality check finished products and report any issues
Follow health and safety protocols
Keep the working area clean, tidy and hazard free
Any other duties requested

The Candidate

Experience with setting and operating Trumpf Laser cutting machines, or similar – for example, AMADA, Bystronic
Must be hands-on
Worked in engineering and wants to learn
From a manufacturing/production background
Physically able and ok with heavy lifting
Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
Be a naturally forward planner.
