Kitchen Assistant – Scarborough YO12 - £12.00 per hour – 40 hrs Full Time PERMANENT

The shift pattern will be 4 days a week starting at 07.30am finishing at 18.00pm, to work every other weekend.

You will be working in a fantastic residential Care Home on the North Shore (Near Peasholme Park) for a charitable organisation who put the needs of the residents and its staff first. Whose person-centred approach to care relies on the dedication and passion of our employees, who we expect to go the extra mile to improve the home experience and generate a relaxed and informal community within our homes.

Overview

· Working in a nursing home, you will be responsible for helping to deliver a high-quality catering service, helping prepare a fantastic menu for the residents which are varied and interesting to meet individual tastes and dietary requirements.

· The role will involve Washing Dishes, kitchen sanitisation and food preparation.

· Excellent people skills are required to maintain positive relationships with residents and members of staff.

· Permanent – 40 hours per week, 4 x 07.30am - 18.00pm including alternative weekends.

· You must have at least 1 years previous kitchen experience.
