Description

Lead the procurement team in the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
Manage supplier relationships and contracts to ensure the best value for the organisation.
Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures in line with public sector regulations.
Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
Oversee the procurement budget and ensure cost-effective spending.
Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and ethical standards.
Promote sustainability and ethical practices within the procurement activities.Profile

A successful Senior Procurement Lead Officer should have:

An educational background in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Significant experience in a procurement role within the public sector.
