RESIDENTIAL BUILDING SURVEYOR

POSITION : Residential Building Surveyor

LOCATION :  Commutable from Leeds , York , Harrogate , Hull , Doncaster, Beverley , Selby, Doncaster, Grimsby

SALARY AND BENEFITS :  Up to £50k, excellent pension , life insurance

THE ROLE :   This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Building Surveyor to join our client who are a successful and well respected multi disciplinary consultancy based in Yorkshire.  This role can be hybrid if required, working a 37.5 hour week.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING :

Significant previous experience working as a Building Surveyor covering residential properties , including listed, large scale and high value properties
Chartered Status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) 
Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle with business insurance.
Confident and concise communicator both verbally and in writing.
Full and detailed knowledge/understanding of both traditional and modern construction techniques.
Ability to interpret and apply legislation and technical standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Excellent client management and presentation skills.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE :

Leadership role overseeing the residential surveying department
Engage in the delivery of Residential Building Surveying services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Promote the residential survey offering and engage in business development activities.
Undertake all residential survey types.
Support the administration team with taking and responding to enquiries and follow up processes.
Ensure reported data is kept accurate and up to date.
Guarantee the financial success and quality delivery of survey instructions through effective cost management.
Support other colleagues within the multi-disciplinary practice.
