Recipe Development Assistant

What you will be doing…

Riverford is a successful E-commerce business selling a diverse range of organic products from veg boxes through to meat, dairy and recipe boxes. This role sits in the Commercial Team, reporting into our Category Manager- Recipe Boxes & Kits.

The primary focus will be to support both the Category Manager and Recipe Development Co-ordinator with the administrative processes that are at the core of our Recipe Boxes & Kits.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all admin duties that support both recipe development and implementation are carried out in an efficient and timely manner with acute attention to detail.

The internal working processes need to run like clockwork to enable the success of the ranges. You will need to make sure that all information on these complex and changeable products is correct and communicated to all parties successfully.

* Ensure all ingredient and allergen information is accurate, up to date, and communicated effectively.

* Upload and verify weekly recipe information on the website, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

* Compile weekly cook’s notes, assist with product substitutions, and support with new recipe recording.

* Conduct research on new products, suppliers, and competitors, and assist with recipe-related inquiries.

* Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and provide general support across various business areas as needed.

Skills & experience…

* Experience with administrative duties, ideally from within a food related business.

* Strong relationship building skills.

* Excellent attention to detail, highly organised and can be relied upon to produce quality, accurate and timely outputs.

* Ability to successfully multi-task and prioritise workload accordingly.

* Computer literacy: Word, Excel and Indesign will all be used in this role.

* Confident and articulate.

This position is being offered as a 6 month fixed term contract. Based at Wash Farm, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 0JU. The role is for 40 hours per week. Normal working hours are between 8:30-5pm, Monday to Friday. Some weekend cover may be required at times.

Salary: £27,044
