We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and friendly secondary school and require a Purchase ledger clerk / Finance assistant for a September 2024 start .

The school is based just outside of Newcastle city Centre and is easy to reach on public transport or by car. You will work in a busy Finance team , dealing with internal and external customers - no day will be the same !

The role is LONG TERM 

Monday - Friday- term time only with a strong likelihood of turning permanent for the right candidate ( Conditions apply )
Hours TBC but probably 8am -4pm
Requirements and Person specification 

Ideally with experience of SAGE200, but not essential
Experience of processing and paying invoices,
Confident when dealing with supplier queries.
Great Telephone manner
Good admin and organisational skills
Strong Team Player
MUST have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one immediately
MUST have a fully checkable work history and be willing to complete registration with GSL
MUST be available term time as above
