Vehicle Technician

Location: Corby

Salary £35k - £40k

Hours : Monday - Friday (Apply online only) and alternative Saturday mornings (Apply online only)

Our client is an established family run business that has been serving Corby's motorists since 1974. We are seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their ALL BRAND service and repair centre.

As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic you will be part of a large team of experienced Vehicle Technicians and expected to report to the Workshop Manager.You will be aided in your development by enrolling onto an IMI accredited training that suits your needs.

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Duties:

* Maintaining vehicles to the high standards, carrying out inspections, repairs and services and liaising with Service Advisors and our Customers.

* All necessary Vehicle Health Checks, paperwork and the Garage Management System is accurate and up to date.

* Jobs are completed within agreed time frames and that a high level of productivity is maintained.

* Analysis, diagnostics and road testing vehicles.

Required Skills to apply for the position

* NVQ Level 3, or equivalent is required

* Strong diagnostic / fault finding skills.

* Timing Belt and Clutch replacement experience.

* MOT tester

* EV Qualified

*Own tools are essential - (Our client has specialist and diagnostic tools)
