Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Contact Supervisor for a Local Authority Client based in East London.

In this role, you will supervise and facilitate safe, structured contact between children and their families, ensuring their well-being while promoting positive parenting practices and supporting family development.

About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

Supervise and facilitate contact sessions between children and their families/carers, ensuring the safety and welfare of all involved.
Assist families in developing independent contact arrangements within the community where appropriate.
Support parents in practising safe and effective parenting skills during contact sessions.
Prepare and present comprehensive reports on contact observations, including contributions to court-ordered assessments.
Contribute to service development, monitoring, and evaluation to improve contact services.

About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

Experience working with children in need of support and protection.
Experience supervising contact sessions between children and their families.
Experience in direct work with children, particularly in a safeguarding context.
Experience working with families to promote positive parenting and child development.
What's on offer:
Salary: £16+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: 20 hours per week, 14:00 - 18:00
