THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented MIG Welder to join our client’s dynamic fabrication team. The successful candidate will be involved in the welding and assembly of various metal components, ensuring all products meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on a range of metal components according to engineering specifications and technical drawings.

Conduct inspections of welds to ensure adherence to company quality standards and specifications.

Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.

Read and accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.

Work closely with team members to meet production deadlines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform routine maintenance checks on welding equipment and report any issues promptly.

THE EXPERIENCE

Previous experience as a MIG Welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is essential.

Strong ability to read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Proficiency in using welding equipment, tools, and safety gear.

Keen attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.

Good understanding of health and safety practices in a welding and fabrication environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and overtime when required.

THE CONTRACT

This is a temporary-to-permanent role, with the opportunity for the right candidate to secure a long-term position based on performance and company needs.

THE SALARY

The position offers a competitive hourly rate, with additional opportunities for overtime pay
