Quality Engineer – Join a Leading Engineering Company

The Role
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll work closely with the Quality Manager to ensure their products meet stringent customer and regulatory standards. You’ll be involved in a variety of quality assurance and control activities, supporting key processes like NPI & Product Realisation to achieve KPIs.

Responsibilities

*

Ensure the quality of all processed products, interfacing with internal and external customers and suppliers on quality matters.

*

Handle non-conforming products, First Articles, PPAP documentation, reworking routings, and customer quality notifications.

*

Submit article concessions, First Article Inspection Reports, and PPAP Documentation.

*

Create QMS procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans for NPI & Product Realisation.

*

Lead or support RCCA workshops to establish effective corrective and preventive actions.

*

Monitor FMEA, Control Plans, and data-driven improvements.

*

Review customer and regulatory standards for QMS compliance.

*

Support quality improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, and non-value-add costs.

Skills & Experience We're Looking For

*

Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in aerospace, nuclear, or other highly regulated sectors.

*

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient with tools like FMEA, 8D, SPC, 5Y, and Ishikawa.

*

Certified AS9100 / ISO9001 Lead or Internal Auditor.

*

Familiarity with Engineering Drawing and CAD Model Interpretation.

*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

*

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

*

HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline.

*

Experience with AS9100 QMS requirements and AS13000 series standards.

*

Familiarity with NADCAP AC7108 / AC7114.
