Preparing Biology teaching and learning materials.
Providing guidance and advice to students on education, further studies, and career options.
Offering feedback to students and parents through consultation evenings, phone calls, or written communication as necessary.
Contributing to departmental planning and self-evaluation.
Offering professional support to fellow teachers and support staff.
Attending departmental and school meetings, both during and after the school day, as required.What do you need?

A teaching qualification with QTS and experience teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4 in line with the British Curriculum.
A valid PGCE/QTS.
An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not have one, we can arrange this for a cost of £44, refundable after completing ten days in your new role).
Knowledge of the UK Secondary Curriculum and the subject matter.
Two education-based references from the last 24 months.
A passion for teaching Biology.
Strong behavior management skills.
