£65,000 - £90,000 and full package

CSC Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading main contractor with an annual turnover c.£150 million per annum. They are based in Central London and work alongside some of the most distinguished clients and unique brands in the UK. The types of schemes they deliver include new build, heavy structural refurbishments and fit out up to £40 million.

The opportunity

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established and growing team in Central London.

Project

Working within the Interiors and Fit Out team to deliver some of the most innovative, sustainable and technically advanced projects, specifically a £40 million prestige CAT B Head Office fitout on behalf of a luxury brand.

Your responsibilities will include

Ensuring contractual terms and conditions for suppliers and subcontractors are adhered to.
Administering incentivised arrangements as appropriate.
Oversee the assessment of early warning notices and compensation events.
Providing regular cash flow forecast of expenditure.
Managing the change management process, consulting with other functions to assess changes and risks to the overall project.
Producing a monthly consolidated cost and expenditure report for the project.
Overseeing the monthly valuation process.
Reviewing potential contractor and supplier claims the adjudication of claims and make recommendations for settlement.
Overseeing the finalisation of contractor's accounts and close out contracts for the project.
Overseeing the financial contingency built into packages and ensure that its allowances reflect the current programme position.
Ensuring all instructions issued by the Project Manager are reviewed for cost implications.
Supporting the change control process and assist in identifying the cost

About you

You have a formal qualification RICS/MCIOB or similar and substantial experience of commercial management
You are digitally savvy
Can build lasting client relationships
Potentially lead strong, motivated teams
Experience as a Surveyor within the fitout sector
