The Role:
As a Dental Nurse at You Dental and Aesthetics you'll be at the heart of our practice, providing outstanding support to our clinical team while ensuring our patients feel cared for and comfortable throughout their visit. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a desire to make a difference in patient care, and a genuine passion for dentistry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient treatment delivery
Provide high levels of patient care, maintaining patient comfort and support throughout their treatment
Ensure all instruments are sterilised and ready for use, in line with infection control procedures
Take accurate dental radiographs and impressions as required (if qualified to do so)
Manage patient records, ensuring all information is accurately recorded and kept up to date
Support the dental team with administrative duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient queries
Educate and reassure patients about dental procedures and aftercare
Maintain stock levels and ensure the dental surgery is fully stocked and prepared for daily use
What We’re Looking For:
GDC registration is essential (General Dental Council)
Proven experience as a Dental Nurse (minimum of 1-2 years preferred, but newly qualified nurses are also welcome)
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
A proactive attitude and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A team player who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve the best results for patients
Knowledge of dental software and basic administrative tasks is a plus
Willingness to undertake continuous professional development (CPD) and further training
