Salary: up to £32 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday
Working Schedule: Full-Time 37 Hours – 9am to 5pm
Role: 6-month contract on-going becoming Permanent
Location: CF14 2TL - Velindre Cancer Centre

Job Details

The role will be 5 days in the office for the first month – then 3 days from month 2.

The new Velindre Cancer Centre (nVCC) Project team is seeking a Contracts and Commercial Project Manager to support the nVCC Project through the exciting Construction and Commissioning Phase.

An ambitious and experienced Commercial and Contracts Project Manager is required to work in a small team led by the Assistant Project Director. The team sits within the wider Project Management Office.

The Commercial and Contracts Project Manager will be the project manager for the Commercial Activity Group.

The Commercial and Contracts Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the management of the Project Agreement and its range of obligations, providing regular monitoring information.

In addition, the role will be responsible for managing the individual procurements and contracts which are integral to the delivery of a new Velindre Cancer Centre.

The Commercial and Contracts Project Manager will also be responsible for refining and improving project management documentation and processes, and ensuring they are best utilised and updated in a timely manner.

The successful applicant will need to establish credibility with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and have the required strategic, planning and performance skills to support the delivery of the Projects.

The post holder will be directly responsible to the Assistant Project Director. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a track record of success in delivering successful projects and a complex environment.
