Mechanical Supervisor – Data centres - Hertfordshire

Our client is a dynamic, fast growing data centre developer. They have grown rapidly, mainly through acquisitions, over the last few years and now operate 60 different sites across Europe. The organisation is still heavily in acquisition mode and are about to add a further 10-sites to their portfolio with advanced talks for others that may come to fruition over the next 12-18 months

Our client is about to embark on a series of upgrades, improvements, refurbishment and extensions to their existing UK sites and they are now seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join the team.

Responsibilities

* Mechanical System Installation & Coordination – Oversees the installation of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications.

* Quality Control & Compliance – Ensures all mechanical work meets building codes, safety standards, and project requirements through inspections and testing.

* Site Supervision & Safety Management – Monitors daily mechanical activities, enforces safety protocols, and ensures work is executed efficiently and safely.

* Resource & Workforce Management – Coordinates labour, materials, and subcontractors to maintain productivity and prevent delays.

* Testing, Commissioning & Handover – Oversees system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure all mechanical systems function properly before project completion.

Requirements

Must have 2+ Years experience in a similar role

Must have relevant degree or equivalent trades background

Must have UK Passport or RTW in the UK

Benefits

£300-£325 per day
