Facade Manager
Residential New Build Project – Acton
Duration: 6-8 Months | Pay: £320-£350 per day (CIS)
About the Role:
A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Façade Manager for a high-profile residential project in Acton. This role offers a competitive day rate, with responsibilities spanning the management of the façade package on a project valued at approximately £80m. The Façade Manager will collaborate closely with an on-site Façade Lead and oversee key elements including SFS, brickwork, fire stopping, scaffolding, windows, roofing, and balconies.
Key Responsibilities:
* People Management: Lead and manage large teams, ensuring the façade package is delivered on time and within budget.
* Facilitate Coordination: Work effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to implement design concepts and resolve issues.
* Technical Expertise: Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in short-term programming, construction methodologies, and façade design, including detailing and structural standards.
* Quality Control: Oversee all phases of the façade package, including quality, health & safety, and cost management, ensuring the highest standards are met throughout.
* Problem-Solving: Manage risks, addressing any issues promptly and ensuring effective resolutions.
* Site Operations: Ensure day-to-day site operations run smoothly, with all health and safety protocols adhered to.
