D&B Commercial Manager / Project Manager ** Nr Kings Langley, Hertfordshire
Permanent position - All in salary (DoE) + bonus (c1 months' salary) + package
Start April 2025

The brief:
Great opportunity to work for a very unique contractor who has secured a niche market - all their work is negotiated. Commercial Manager / Project Manager to take projects from pre-construction through to completion. Primarily commercial bias (QS), but with an understanding of good delivery (PM) - a familiar role within some reputable D&B fit-out firms.

This is a dual / combined Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager type of position. Hands on, as all their work is negotiated. In a nutshell, the person would pick up a lead (enquiry), work alongside a designer (in-house) to come up with an idea of the space, put together initial costs plan, design fee, present to the client, if approved would then move on to design, make sure the design is in unison with the pricing process, get stage 3 complete, approved by the client, then price it in detail, client sign off, and then deliver the project.
The company has good software that gives them initial rates, but the role does require someone with previous (and relevant) experience who can take something from initial enquiry, through the pre-con element / design, to contract award and then delivery.

Responsible for multiple projects with a Site Manager running each job.
