FLATBED DIE CUTTER OPERATOR - DAYS / FIXED EARLY SHIFT

GREATER MANCHESTER

Salary Guide: £32/33K + 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Company Workwear Provided

HOURS: 37.5hrs - Monday to Friday - Ideally 7am till 2.30pm with 30 mins Break - this is Flexible

Our client is a BRC accredited cartons and sleeves packaging manufacturer based in the North West, They are one of the largest companies of its kind in the UK and with an international customer-base and serve a broad range of customer sectors.

They are currently looking for a Flat Bed Die Cutting Operator to work within their Finishing Department. The client is looking for a candidate that has experience running a Sanwa or Similar Machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to set up and run Flatbed Die Cutter - Sanwa or Similar
Experience of die cutting printed sheets including intricate make readies
Stripping of die cut sheets
Liaise with other departments such as pre-press (for forms) and / or glue line
Ensuring all appropriate Health & Safety requirements are adhered to at all times
Maintaining a clean and tidy working environmentRequirements:

The ability to work in different areas within Finishing (i.e. Cylinders/Guillotining) would be an advantage although training can be provided
Current Fork Lift Truck Licence would be preferable
