Konker is recruiting for an Architect / Senior Architect to join a growing architectural practice based in Manchester City Centre. 
 
This practice of over 90 staff, is looking to further grow its industrial and retail operations and is seeking an experienced Architect to support them in their Manchester office. This role will be focused on high-value, low-risk, industrial projects. 
 
At present, the Manchester office has roughly 13 employees but due to further client demand and to support the operations of its two other offices, they are seeking new staff to join them. 
 
This Architect position will see you running and managing projects while overseeing a team in the office.
 
Over the last 30 years, they have worked on many award-winning projects, locally and nationally. With their core principles revolving around sustainable design and work enjoyment, this diverse practice is looking for an Architect who loves their work and will bring plenty of enthusiasm along with them.  
 
Previous experience working on Industrial projects is needed, alongside any experience in cladding being a major benefit. 
 
The Role: Architect or Senior Architect    

Run your own projects
Lead a team and help manage the office in Manchester
Work in a relaxed working environment
Producing technical drawings for each stage of the building process
Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants
Annual bonus scheme, that has been paid every year for over 10 years! The salary for this Architect position is between £40K-£50K depending on previous experience and ability. They also offer a generous benefits package, including a company bonus paid out over the last 11 years.
