This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of the certification process for Combat System software for in-service Submarines. Additional development opportunities within integration roles and potential moves into Submarine-system development, product development, and future combat system design activities are available.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking test events on the Integration facility
Developing test scripts and procedures to test Combat Systems
Completion of routine maintenance on the Integration rigs
Development of alternative test procedures and practices
Providing specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise in the testing of Submarine systems
Ensuring design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirements management tools, and endorsed by the appropriate level of authority

Job Requirements:

Experience of Submarine Combat applications
Degree level qualification within an Engineering field or equivalent experience
Knowledge and experience of Sonar capability
