Technical and Development Manager – About the role:
As the Technical and Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and launching innovative rodenticides and insecticides. Your leadership will drive product development, from concept to commercialisation, while ensuring that products meet market needs, comply with regulatory standards, and promote environmental sustainability.
You will collaborate closely with R&D, regulatory, and sales teams, providing technical expertise and guiding product trails to optimise performance.
Technical and Development Manager – Key Responsibilities:
• Product Development: Lead formulation development, field trials, and efficacy testing for new products.
• Research and Innovation: Identify new trends, technologies, and ingredients to drive innovation.
• Technical Expertise: Provide support to customers, distributors, and internal teams on product usage and troubleshooting.
• Sustainability & Resistance Management: Develop eco-friendly pest control solutions and lead efforts in resistance management strategies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to align technical projects with market and business goals.
• Leadership: Mentor and lead technical staff, fostering innovation and growth.
Technical and Development Manager – Candidate:
An experienced leader in the pesticide industry with a passion for sustainable pest control. With 5-7 years of experience, you have a proven track record of managing product development from concept to market and deep knowledge of pest biology and control methods.
Technical and Development Manager – Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Biology, Chemistry, Entomology, or a related field (PhD is a plus).
• 5-7 years of experience in rodenticides or non-crop insecticides.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of pesticide formulations and resistance management.
