One of the South’s leading material handling and storage system company are looking for a warranty and service administrator to take ownership and responsibility for processing all warranty claims. Follow up estimates to customers and arrange follow up work from Thorough Examination inspections. Provide back-up and support to our Customer Support Desk and a carry out other ad hoc administration duties as required which will include some job invoicing.
Main Duties of the Warranty and Service Administrator
* Accurate and timely completion for submitting claims to manufacturers
* Investigate rejected claims, recharge or invoice at our cost
* Query unsettled or short paid claims
* Process warranty jobs to completion on our systems
* Liaise with our field based and workshop engineers to give guidance on warranty work
* Identify parts for return or disposal, record and control
* Arrange jobs for manufacturer campaigns and follow up
* Have a good understanding of various manufacturer’s warranty policies
* Monitor profitability
* Other admin duties in line with needs of the business
* Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm with an hour for lunch
Required Skills
* Experience within a warranty administrator role/service type administration
* Good commercial awareness and understanding
* Excellent written and communication skills
* Good skills in Microsoft Excel & Outlook
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to problem solve
* Decision making
Must be able to work as part of a team, be professional and self motivated. Enthusiastic and willing to learn. In house training will be given to the right candidate.
