About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Building Surveyor to conduct comprehensive fabric condition surveys across a healthcare estate in Cardiff. This 38-day contract offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in assessing building fabric within a critical healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed fabric condition surveys of various buildings within the healthcare estate.
Utilize a tablet device and our bespoke asset capture software to record survey data accurately.
Identify and document defects, assess their severity, and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure data integrity and consistency.Requirements:

Proven experience in conducting fabric condition surveys, preferably within healthcare or similar environments.
Proficiency in using tablet devices and asset capture software for data collection.
Strong understanding of building pathology, materials, and construction techniques
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, concise reports.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.Contract Details:

Rate: £300 per day.
