Internal communications - Contract role
Mansfield - Hybrid working available
£27,314 - £30,349

We are currently recruiting for an experienced engagement officer to work collaboratively with teams across the business on all aspects of communications, marketing and engagement work - with a focus on providing expert advice on internal and corporate communications.

The role of internal communications will involve:

Supporting team in developing and delivering effective and inclusive colleague engagement arrangements to ensure colleagues feel connected, are well informed on business priorities and are supported to communicate across the business.
Work creatively to manage, develop and evaluate our communications - working in partnership with communications and digital colleagues.
Assist in the planning, organisation and delivery of our internal engagement plans in line with corporate objectives
Write, develop and issue communications to a high editorial standard including updating website content, writing corporate briefings and reports.
Be proactive in researching developments in communications and bring new ideas into the team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with those leading core corporate programmes, supporting the delivery of relevant changes to the organisation's systems and corporate culture
Regularly review and update our brand writing guidelines and corporate templates
Build and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders across the business (including Community Response) to identify and develop content for our internal communications
Review and evaluate performance of internal and corporate communications, making necessary evidence-based changes. The ideal candidate for the role of internal communications will have experience of:

Supporting and implementing engagement strategies and/or plans to deliver corporate objectives.
Delivering corporate and internal engagement in a complex, technical organisation.
Experience of copywriting for different target audiences.
Developing engagement channels, including intranets, websites and social media.
Working with colleagues across an organisation to deliver communications activities.
Managing events.
Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Experience of design software e.g. Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator would be an advantage but not essential
Photography skills would be an advantage but not essential
