About the role:
We are seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to join our dynamic team in Barnet, starting part-time (3 days per week) to support our growing school community. This role offers a unique opportunity due to increased student enrollment, making it an exciting addition to our team.
The recruitment process involves a face-to-face interview and participation in a trial day, ensuring a thorough assessment of candidates’ teaching abilities and alignment with our school’s values of respect, inclusion, and collaboration. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work closely with small groups of children, supported by a dedicated teaching assistant, fostering a nurturing learning environment that promotes curiosity and lifelong learning.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognized in the UK, demonstrating a thorough understanding of educational principles and best practices in Early Years education.
• Proven experience in Early Years or a similar educational setting, showcasing a deep understanding of child development theories.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, colleagues, and parents.
• Have respect for pupils’ social, cultural, linguistic, religious, ethnic backgrounds with an understanding of how these may affect their learning
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs and interests of young learners, utilising a variety of teaching strategies and resources to spark curiosity and foster a love for learning from an early age.
• Foster a supportive environment for young children’s development by promoting positive relationships, emotional well-being, and social skills.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and parents to support children’s learning journey, maintaining open communication channels to share progress, insights, and strategies that enhance educational outcomes.
