Job Title: Interior Designer

Location: Chelmsford

Salary: £27,000-£32,000 dependent on experience

I am delighted to be seeking a talented Interior Designer to join a well-established Architectural and Interior Design Practice use their extensive experience to deliver creative and inspiring projects across a number of sectors. These sectors include education, residential, retail and hospitality. Their dedicated team pride themselves on cultivating long term relationships with repeat clients. Working for this successful practice ensure excellent career progression, regular training within a supportive and friendly working environment. This dynamic, RIBA Chartered Practice have a number of exciting projects on the horizon so are seeking an Interior designer to join their social team in Chelmsford.

The successful Interior Designer will have post qualification experience in an Architecture/ Interior Design practice with experience working on hospitality projects and a good understanding of building regulations.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Interior Designer:

Degree in Interior Design or similar is preferred
A couple of years of post-qualification experience in a UK Architectural Practice
Well versed in AutoCAD, the Adobe Suite and Sketch UP
Excellent FF&E knowledge and sourcing skills
Strong technical drawings
Proven record working on projects for the hospitality sector
Confident liaising with clients, contractors, supplies and other professionals
Great presentation abilities
Capable at producing mood boards for presentation
Attend site visits and meetings
Strong drawing skills for elevations and layouts
Comprehensive Building Regulation knowledge
Live locally to the Essex region
Proactive and positive attitude
