Senior Quantity Surveyor

Fawkes & Reece are working alongside a tier 1 main contractor in the water sector looking to extend their commercial team to find an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a high value project within the Southampton area.

Fantastic opportunity for and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or experienced Quantity Surveyor who feels ready for the next step in their career with a leading contractor.

Brief outline:

Working alongside Southern Water on water treatment project due to the growing increase in waste water. Type of works will include water pumps, flow and filtration assets, reservoir tanks and upgrading the rapid gravity filtration.

Requirements of Senior Quantity Surveyor

Degree-qualified in a Quantity Surveying subject or equivalent
Experience working in the water sector or a similar sector
Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UKResponsibilities of Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Experienced in delivering large scale projects incl civil, mechanical, infrastructure and non-infrastructure type work
Able to lead by example and develop their team's skills and experience
Confident dealing with stakeholders from different disciplines to establish complete commercial understanding
Confident to challenge the wider project team's view on scope and hold theme
Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way
Must be customer focused by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needsThe successful candidate will be rewarded with an outstanding working environment, competitive salary and a generous package including a car allowance/ company car and bonuses.
