Embark on a pivotal role within a forward-thinking manufacturing company, poised for a new facility and expansion within the coming years. The firm is seeking a versatile and adept Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who can hold their own electrically to enhance the team, bringing technical expertise to both the existing site and exciting future projects.

This position promises a harmonious work-life balance with a structured Monday to Friday schedule, afternoon shifts of 2pm-10pm Monday - Thursday and 6am-2pm on a Friday. Such a pattern allows ample time to enjoy personal pursuits outside of the professional environment. 

Ideal candidates will possess a robust skill set in maintenance engineering, with a proven track record of both reactive and proactive maintenance practices. The role demands a hands-on approach to ensure the seamless operation of machinery and equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the manufacturing process.

 The role of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

Day to day maintenance of the facility.
Ensure at all times the plant is maintained to ensure safe and efficient and timely continued operation.
Where required assist with the installation and implementation of projects.
Work as a team player within the engineering department and help with meeting all agreed objectives.
Assist with compliance of the safety, health, environmental and quality policies when required
Assist in maintaining a strong health and safety awareness culture within the engineering and other departments.
Follow the any specified requirements on risk assessments in relation to the engineering and other department functions.
Follow the requirements of permits and safe systems of work.
Ensure that site housekeeping in sections within your control are maintained to the required standard. Qualifications & Skills required in this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers role:

Recognised Engineering qualification, minimum of a level 3
Multi-Skilled approach with strong Electrical skills
Experience of working with manufacturing machinery  The benefits of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

Basic Salary £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday
6am - 2pm Friday
Xmas shutdown (Optional)
22 days holiday plus bank holidays, an extra day is awarded for each year of service (capped at 25 days).
