Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, a well-established, successful, and exciting design and manufacturing business. Recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for Quality Assurance for specific projects.
Working 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm and offering very attractive remuneration plus 8% non-contributory pension, 25 days holiday (plus BH), Simply Health Medical Scheme and Life Insurance, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
Initial responsibilities during project set-up will include:
* Process Validation of a new device entering production.
* Involvement in setting up test and DHR processes including Microsoft SharePoint (or similar).
* Liaising with the Production Engineering department during the project setup.
* Liaising with customers on quality issues.
* Developing goods receipt inspection plans, including trend analysis.
* Customer Acceptance (CA) release of finished devices.
Responsibilities following project set-up will include:
* Process Validation of a subsequent changes to devices.
* Administering Microsoft SharePoint (or similar) within the QA department.
* Customer Acceptance (CA) release of finished devices.
* Trend analysis for devices in production.
* Liaising with customers on quality issues.
* Working to company standards as written in the QA Manual policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
In addition to the above functions and responsibilities, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.
The ideal candidate:
* Quality assurance training including Process Validation may be required.
* A related technical qualification is desirable.
* Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills are essential.
