Salary: £100-£110 per day

TeacherActive is excited to be recruiting for Learning Mentors to work within a Multi Academy Trust, for SEND students in the Plymouth area. This school prides itself on their unique approach to learning, with a focus on Learning Outside The Classroom / LOTC. They receive glowing feedback from parents and pupils alike, most commenting on the kindness and inclusivity shown by staff.

This school is looking for a resilient, experienced Learning Mentor with Driving Responsibilities on a full time basis, for a long term booking with an immediate start. The successful applicant should have experience working within specialist schools, challenging behaviour or working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs. The role will include providing Learning Outside of The Classroom with students who struggle with mainstream models of education, mostly on a 1:1 basis.  

The successful Learning Mentor will have:

Experience working with SEND / Challenging Behaviours
Experience working on a 1:1 basis
A Full Driving License, their own vehicle with business insurance.
