Holt Executive are partnered with a leading technology innovator servicing the global aviation industry, offering cutting-edge products to some of the biggest names in commercial aviation.

They are seeking a Commercial Contracts Specialist to provide commercial support and input throughout the business and safeguard their financial interests by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts that maximise value.

Key Responsibilities for the Commercial Contracts Specialist:

Analyse RFPs, provide expert input and craft compelling proposals.
Draft, negotiate, and manage all commercial and contractual aspects, ensuring compliance.
Managing the pre- and post-contract commercial administration of Customer and manage risk effectively.
Full understanding of contract terms and conditions and managing their flow down appropriately.
Ensuring that all tasks are delivered to optimise returns and minimise risk.
Review, highlight and address any commercial risk areas with the relevant owners.
Provision of weekly/monthly Commercial reports as necessary.
Maintaining a working knowledge of relevant international laws and regulations
Act as the main point of contact for customer correspondence, including proposal reviews, and post‐award engagements such as change orders, terminations, novation/name changes and other contract-related matters.
Representing the company at client and supplier meetings, which may involve international travel.Key Skills & Experience for the Commercial Contracts Specialist:

Essential -

Educated to Degree level or equivalent, preferably a Law degree, or a degree in a Business with Law, or similarly related subject.
4+ years of demonstrable working knowledge and first-hand experience in commercial management.
Proven negotiating skills and recognition of commercial risk.
Demonstrable experience in reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions within a commercial environment.
Experience in managing customer contracts and/or subcontractor contracts.
Experience in dispute resolutionDesired -

Proven ability to navigate complex contracts across diverse markets (US contracting experience is an asset)
General knowledge of the wider Civil Aerospace market.
