A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a mechanically biassed Maintenance Engineer to join a nationwide FMCG company in Stoke-on-Trent.
This position would be ideal for someone who is mechanically minded and is able to strip down and rebuild machinery and who has experience within a food manufacturing environment. My client boasts great attrition rates and are keen on training and developing their engineer’s skills.
Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:
* Day shift (Monday-Friday).
* Stripping down existing machinery.
* Assist with breakdowns.
* Undertake planned maintenance tasks.
* Improving and maintaining production equipment.
* Updating CMMS.
* Continuous improvement projects.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:
* Recognised engineering qualifications.
* Ideally apprentice trained.
* Food packaging machinery experience would be ideal but not essential.
* Strong mechanical engineering abilities.
* Experience with pneumatics.
