Traffic co-ordinator required for a 3 month contract rolling for a well known food manufacturing company in York.

We are looking to start someone in early April.

Ideally you will have previous experience of working within the Logistics industry as you will be the first point of contact for internal drivers and external hauliers providing guidance and support to navigate the site, keeping them informed about load status.

You will be working with a small team which consists of traffic co-ordinators, drivers and driver managers.

Part of your role will be to assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive 365 day resource plan, ensuring strict compliance with company policy and Operators licence regulations particularly the RTD and WTD hours.

You will assist in a seamless collaboration among the internal team to effectively co-ordinate and execute resource plans.

Provide admin support to the logistics traffic office, including answering calls, emails etc.

You must have excellent IT skills and experience of Word/Excel/emails- training will be provided on the internal systems.

You will receive £13.81 ph (c£27k pa equivalent)

Looking to start early April for 3 months.
