Registered Manager - Gloucester - £35k

We’re working with a specialist, independent, national healthcare provider for Mental Health, Learning Disability, Autism, Brain Injury Rehab and Children's Services.

Enabling those they support to live their best possible lives through their extensive UK wide network of services, they are now looking to hire a Registered Manager (for a Children’s home) in Gloucester as follows:

* Working full time, 37.5 hours per week, in Gloucester

* A minimum of Level 4 qualification in Health and Social care

* Managing the service provision within the home in accordance with legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practices.

* Create and uphold an open, positive and inclusive management culture.

* Formulate and administer the service’s budget based on the service’s objectives and within the projected revenue.

* Participate in the development of the service’s policies.

* Share in the development of strategic plans for the service.

* Work to establish effective employer-employee relationships.

* Formulate and implement care policies and procedures.

* Ensure that job descriptions for all employees are appropriate to current practices in each function.

* Implement and evaluate the orientation and induction of all new employees.

* Assist individual staff to develop in their role and level of compliance with agreed standards.

* Assess the effectiveness of support and nursing implementation and delivery.

* Work in cooperation with members of multi-disciplinary health teams in order to maximise opportunities for Service User therapeutic support.

* Ensure that Service User rights are protected.

* Engage in local meetings relevant to the activity of the service.

* Establish relationships with learning institutions to promote availability of staff training at all levels.

The successful Registered Manager can expect a starting salary around £35k plus benefits with reviews and uplifts based on tenure and performance alongside a structured career path and ongoing training.
