The Role:
As Assistant Head - Inclusion, you will:
✔️ Lead inclusion strategies to ensure every pupil reaches their full potential.
✔️ Work with clinical and inclusion teams to overcome barriers to attendance and behaviour.
✔️ Deliver targeted interventions to support pupils and families.
✔️ Act as the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring compliance and best practices in safeguarding.

What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Proven experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
✔️ Previous leadership experience, ideally as an Assistant Head or in a senior leadership role.
✔️ A background in education or social work, with experience supporting pupils with barriers to learning, SEN, or pastoral care.

To be successful in this role, you must have:
✔️ Proven experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or in a similar safeguarding leadership role.
✔️ Previous leadership experience, ideally as an Assistant Head, Deputy Head, or equivalent senior leadership role in education.
✔️ A strong background in inclusion, special educational needs (SEN), and supporting pupils with barriers to learning or behaviour.
✔️ Experience working with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies for pupil success.
✔️ A teaching qualification (QTS) or relevant professional background (e.g., social work)
