Sorbon Estates is a leading regional property investor, developer, and asset manager. With a diverse portfolio spanning prime high street shops, offices, industrial units and marinas. We manage around 2,500 units with 2,123 occupiers.
Our portfolio is located in the south-east of England with the majority only a 30 minute drive from our office in Beaconsfield in towns such as Marlow, Maidenhead, Windsor and other sought-after market towns.
Our estates management team manage the relationship with our occupiers from negotiation of a lease, landlord and tenant matters throughout the term, to managing their exit.
Privately owned, we take a long-term view and pride ourselves on the quality of our buildings, our attention to detail and creating unique places for the community. This role would suit an experienced Estates Manager or you could be a Property Manager wanting to take on wider responsibilities.
About the Role
Overseeing the prestigious Marlow estate and other properties in the south-east, your role will cover the following key areas:
* Driving value: through lettings, lease renewals, regears and reviews.
* Day to day management: Working alongside our in-house maintenance team to manage tenant repairs, planned work and dilapidations as well as effectively managing service charges.
* Financial targets: meet and exceed budgeted rent, occupancy and expenditure targets.
* Oversee tenant covenants and compliance: with excellent working relationship and communication with tenants, local authorities and solicitors to ensure that tenant covenants and relevant standards are followed.
About You
We're seeking someone who is:
* Experienced: proven track record in commercial property management.
* Positive mindset: optimistic, problem solver.
* Driven: a self-starter with the initiative to get the job done.
* Personable: you love working in a team and bring humour to the office.
* Skilled negotiator: confident and self assured.
* Qualified: ideally RICS qualified, although this is not essential.
