Home Manager – Small Elderly nursing home

Salary: £55,000 per annum
Location: West Sussex

35 hrs per week

30+8 days holiday

Overview

Florin Healthcare are excited to be working with an amazing provider for a Care Home Manager in the West Sussex area. The home is a small elderly care home that provides elderly nursing care and also has a small domiciliary Care Service for the extra care apartments on site. As the Home Manager you will be responsible for leading, motivating and managing the care and support teams to provide excellent care to the residents in the service. You will also be asked to mentor and support existing staff members and encourage them to grow professionally as well as maintaining CQC standards

Requirements

* Previous experience in a management or leadership role within a care home setting.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to manage teams independently.

* Knowledge of CQC standards and other relevant legislation.

* A compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.

* Relevant qualifications in social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3, Level 5 or equivalent).

* Open to Non nurse applications
