Role: Baby Room Leader

Location: Warlingham CR6

Hours: Full-time

Salary: £27,000 - £33,800 per annum depending on age, experience and hours

Qualification: NVQ Level 3

The Role

Our client are looking for a qualified and experienced Nursery baby Room Leader. You will be responsible for:

* Leadership activities such as organising and managing the day-to-day activities within the room, supervising and supporting nursery practitioners, ensuring high-quality care and learning experiences and leading by example, demonstrating positivity, professionalism and a caring attitude to all.

* Care, learning and play which includes fostering a love for learning through play, creativity, and exploration and offering rich learning opportunities through play and playful teaching.

* Health, Safety & Wellbeing which includes maintaining a safe and hygienic room. Conducting risk assessments and following our health and safety policies and guidelines and safeguarding children, and have a sound working knowledge of the EYFS.

* Communicating effectively with staff and parents alike, sharing insights into their baby’s day, celebrating their progress and achievements.

* Training - we’ll offer lots of additional support from Surrey Early Years, The National Day Nursery Association, Parents, and our other training providers.

What you will bring

* NVQ/Cache Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, Early Years Degree or QTS;

* Experience as a Room Leader;

* Strong knowledge of EYFS and children’s learning and development;

* Experience working with babies
