Our client, based in Essex are looking for talented Environmental Health Officers/Practitioners to work within the Private Sector Housing team for one year.

The role is specialising in damp and mould service requests and housing inspections. You will be expected to inspect and survey a wide range of private sector residential properties including owner-occupied homes, houses-in-multiple occupation, and empty properties.

You will also be expected to inspect properties in poor, overcrowded and unsanitary conditions in various locations, this may include early mornings and evenings so a level of flexibility is expected.

For this role our client requires an experienced officer with at least 2 years within local authority. You must also hold the HHSRS Certificate.

The contract is for an initial 6 months and they will pay £37-£45PH Umbrella. Hybrid working is available
